Why Should You Attend Devinny Elementary School?

Become a Devinny Knight

Devinny Elementary is a school of excellence located in the Green Mountain area of Lakewood, Colorado. We have approximately 470 students in grades kindergarten through fifth and host a Gifted and Talented Center program for our first through fifth-grade students.

Devinny is a Leader in Me school. We believe that each of our students is a leader and strive to help them believe in their potential. Combined with our PBIS program, we use the 7 Habits from Leader in Me to develop a culture that maximizes student learning potential.

Devinny has consistently received high performance ratings on our school accountability and accreditation reports and was recognized in 2016 as a National Blue Ribbon School.

The staff at Devinny is committed to delivering on our mission statement:

To empower students to become global citizens and critical thinkers who persevere in finding creative solutions, taking risks and communicating effectively with kindness, respect and responsibility in their learning.

The Devinny community believes excellence is not a destination, but is achieved through perseverance and engaging opportunities.
