Special Education

Devinny Elementary School’s team of learning specialists, paraprofessional, psychologist, speech language pathologist and motor/vision/hearing specialists assist identified students in developing skills and learning behaviors which enable them to benefit from the general education program. 

Special Education Services are provided in a variety of ways: 

• Direct instruction
• Co-teaching
• Consultation
• Materials modification as identified on a student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).  

Devinny relies on strong parent partnership and collaboration with staff in all settings in our building to provide inclusive instruction for all our unique learners.
